Once more, on this week we will focus on reading, identifying the following as we read:
STORY SEQUENCE
MAIN IDEA
SUPPORTING DETAILS
Students will infer & predict as we read along.
Thus, being able to successfully answer to the who, what, where, when, and why as we analyze a story. These are some of the activities that we will do:
● Read Alouds / Guided Readings / Silent Reading
● Vocabulary enrichment exercises
● Mind Mapping / Concept Maps
● Discussion of idioms and colloquial expressions
● Reflexions on morals taught in certain stories
● Writing creative stories
● Using technology to demonstrate understanding.
 
Furthermore, we will achieve new vocabulary as we learn about 
   TRADITIONAL GAMES in Honduras
 
…using possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns as we unfold the lesson:
Singular: my /mine, your /yours, his /his, her /hers, it /not used 
Plural: our/ours, your/yours, their/theirs
HW: Homework will depend on daily exercises or activities done in class.
Students will complete at home unfinished classwork.
 
However, students must review the lessons and practice the activities/exercises everyday.

SEVENTH GRADE:

During this week, the students will work on developing the following fundamental skills of KICKBALL: throwing, kicking, catching and running. Students will put this knowledge to test in games. During the week, the students will also have a fitness test

REMINDER:

I would like to remind you that all students need to be dressed appropriately for the days that they have P.E. class. Students should refrain from using the following:

–  Dresses for the girls

–  Jeans (shorts or pants)

–  Crocks

–  Sandals

–  Boots

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

In order to participate in class activities and receive full credit for the class, students need to wear appropriate clothing for P.E. class.

GOALS: 

We will use the word RESPECT to set the main goals for the year.

Right to Learn – Every child has this right to be educated!

Effort – Win or lose, trying is the most important trait.
