Language Arts Feb 27-Mar 3

7th graders are continuing building up their creativity in writing.  We have written laconics, limericks, and 30 second reality TV show promos.  These are fun yet useful methods to get the students to be descriptive and creative.

For this week, students will move in writing poetry about nature, foods and emotions.  It will require them to use all 5 sensory points (sight, smell, touch, sound, taste & feelings) to describe these thing in a form of poetry.

Students will be tested on their literary devices and have a layered vocabulary quiz on Thursday and Friday of this week.  Homework is based on students not completing in-class assignments.
