7th graders have made significant headway in the book The Pigman. It’s a book dealing with complex social issues with the main characters involving peer isolation, feelings of not belonging and befriending an elderly man with the same issues and end up learning more about themselves through this friendship. Students are still required to identify literary devices and discuss themes. There will be a quiz on Thursday chapters 1-6 of The Pigman.
7th graders are also tasked with daily vocab warm-ups and will prepare for their next layered vocab test towards the end of the week (it will be part of the quiz on The Pigman chapters).
Esta nueva semana nos concentraremos en el estudio de la cultura hondureña desde los primeros tiempos hasta la independencia.
