La Primavera, que significa “primer verdor”,

es una estación del año muy bonita

ya que los árboles empiezan a florecer

y en los campos se ven multitud de colores.

Esta estación ha inspirado a muchos poetas a escribir sobre ella…

Ya alegra la campiña

la fresca primavera;

el bosque y la pradera

renuevan su verdor.

Con silbo de las ramas

los árboles vecinos

acompañan los trinos

del dulce ruiseñor.

On this week, students will focus their learning in grammar rules of punctuation.

Learning about ‘acentos,’ italics and underlining, quotation marks, commas, hyphens, parenthesis, and dashes.

Students will read a short story everyday and have homework assignments completing different exercises, including

Q & A about the story.

R E A D I N G

Students must read everyday. You are welcome to visit the library and choose an appropriate book for your child . . .

Students can practice their reading on a daily basis by choosing a story in the following site:

HW: Homework will depend on daily exercises or activities done in class.

The student will complete at home unfinished classroom exercises or activities.

MONDAY:         ORAL PROFICIENCY EVALUATION

   CONVERSATION …your overall ability to communicate in SPANISH.                                    

WEDNESDAY:  GRAMMAR & VOCABULARY EVALUATION

   WRITING …your ability to communicate your ideas in well structured sentences.

FRIDAY:          WEEKLY EVALUATION

   LESSONS & VOCABULARY …vocabulary knowledge and reading comprehension over the lesson.
