Language Arts Feb 29 – Mar 4

7th graders are still working on finishing the book The Pigman.  For skills focus, students are building on their critical thinking and problem solving skills through reading various short stories and conducting comparative thinking to work out the problems of each of the stories.  Towards the end of the week, students will write cause/effect and comparative essays on the short stories they have read.  7A has homework on Monday and 7B has homework on Tuesday.  Homework is due on Thursday for 7A and Friday for 7B.  There is no test/quiz for this week.

la fresca primavera;

el bosque y la pradera

renuevan su verdor.

Con silbo de las ramas

los árboles vecinos

acompañan los trinos

del dulce ruiseñor.

On this week, students will focus their learning in grammar rules of punctuation.
